Dear players,

My name is Seung-Hun Baek and I am the CEO and Executive Producer for CROWZ at Royal Crow.

It has been a very busy time for us on the Royal Crow dev team as we continue to work on CROWZ, our biggest project to date.

As some of you may know, we were initially aiming to release CROWZ in late 2022. After going through multiple beta tests, we received a lot of productive feedback directly from players with different tastes and backgrounds.

We realized that in order to keep the player community highly engaged to help us make the best version of our vision, it is better to make CROWZ available to players as soon as possible. This decision aligns with the product perspective that CROWZ is a multiplayer-focused game and with more active players in our game, the more productive feedback we will receive. This in turn will help us improve our game experience for broader audiences.

Today, we are very pleased to announce that CROWZ will enter Steam Early Access on the evening of March 28 (PT) / the morning of March 29 (GMT)!

We believe the best ideas for our development team come from a community of players who enjoy and play the game. We have already made major improvements to CROWZ by implementing community feedback from our beta tests, such as improved character animations, weapon balance changes, and enhanced sound effects for vehicles. Our plan is to actively communicate, interact and work alongside our community throughout Early Access to make CROWZ even better. We intend to make consistent improvements, quality-of-life changes, and bug fixing updates every month.

During Steam Early Access, CROWZ will be free to play. Throughout the Early Access period, in-game purchases will be available. Our plan is to bring CROWZ from Early Access to 1.0 as a free-to-play game. Anything purchased during Early Access will continue to be available to use in the full game.

Speaking of 1.0 launch, we have not announced a date at this time. Our goal is to utilize Steam’s Early Access period to make improvements that will help us release CROWZ into 1.0 as soon as it’s ready. The community will be the first to know what that date is, so be sure to follow our Steam page and our social media channels.

On behalf of the whole CROWZ development team and ThumbAge, our amazing publishing partner, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the gamers around the world that participated in the playtests and shared valuable feedback and suggestions. We look forward to working alongside our community during Early Access and invite everyone playing to provide feedback on their experience as we continue to develop CROWZ.
